It all started when…

Big Sean spoke his truth through his fifth studio album “Detroit 2” and took listeners on an emotional ride.

With his intro song “Why Would I stop?” it set the tone that the album would take listeners inside the life of Big Sean and what he has been going through.

The 21 track album dove into many different topics such as mental health struggles, sex, friendship and love.

His project has a great amount of features such as Nipsey Hussle, Stevie Wonder. Dave Chappelle, Tee Grizzley, Jhene Aiko and so many more.

“Detroit 2” contained elements of fun melodies, hard core raps and memorable interludes with life long gems.

With songs like “Lucky me,” “Deep Reverence,” and “Guard Your Heart” there is a sense of motivation and inspiration within the lyrics.

With it almost being 10 years since Big Sean’s debut album “Finally Famous” he has proved that his music career can have longevity and that he is able to grow as an artist.

This album is definitely a full circle moment for anybody who needs a reminder to keep that drive to follow their dreams and be the best version of themselves.
