With the new songs “Savage remix” by Megan Thee Stallion featuring Beyoncé and “Say So Remix” by Doja Cat featuring Nicki Minaj these women have shown the world how much black women who come together can create a major impact and cultural shift.
The “Say So Remix” shocked the entire world because fans all over the world have pleaded that Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj collaborate and make music together and they got what they wanted. Minaj added her upbeat flare onto the song which added even more excitement to hot 100 song. With endless metaphors and double entendres Minaj was able to remind the world why her voice will always be unforgettable, and with this collaboration it showed that female rap has come back to the essence of unity and great music.
With the “Savage Remix” there was a shift throughout the world simply because both Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé are from Houston and the world has craved the two women to make a song together for a very long time. The viral hot 100 song was already a hit everywhere, but once Beyoncé entered the song changed to a different level. With Beyoncé’s cocky lyrics, fun hooks and effortless vocals the song screamed women empowerment. Throughout the song there was a rush of excitement that was apparent from beginning to end which made for a feel-good song.
