Shock across the globe occurred when the unexpected death of NBA superstar Kobe Bryant happened January 26.
A fatal helicopter crash in Calabasas, California lead to the death of nine passengers including Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant.
People all around the world gathered to honor Bryant and his legacy he built. “I promise you I’ll continue your legacy man! You mean so much to us all here especially #LakerNation,” Lebron James said via Instagram.
Prayers have been sent from around the world to the Bryant family and the other families involved in the crash. “Kobe was so much more than an athlete, he was a family man,” Shaquille O’Neal said via Instagram.
The aftermath of the death of Kobe Bryant has left the world in shock and disbelief, but most importantly for his wife of 19 years. “There aren’t enough words to describe our pain right now. I take comfort in knowing that Kobe and Gigi both knew that they were so deeply loved,” Vanessa Bryant said via Instagram.
