H&M broadcasted their new campaign that has sparked a great amount of backlash and questions throughout the internet.

A young African American model was shown within the photos with her hair “undone” and the internet was in an entire frenzy.

H&M has had major history in the past with portraying African Americans in a negative light which creates a new question; Is outrage the new way of advertising and making money?

There have been many brands from each spectrum whether it is beauty, clothing, lifestyle, etc that have shown a lack of respect towards people of color which makes consumers stop to think are brands just miseducated or are they doing these actions because they know “Black Twitter” will sky rocket the conversation and brand even more?
